I paint intuitively, meditatively, and let the layers slowly appear. For this one I had the idea of the shape of the landscape, and from there it evolved intuitively applying layers and layers of colours , it is a slow process as each layer needs to dry before another is applied. It can take months to finish sometimes and I often have many paintings on the go at the same time. The process feels meditative.
I try to edit the images as close as possible to the real painting, but colors will appear different from screen to screen.
