I am a french artist, yoga/meditation teacher and vegetarian chef living in Totnes in South Devon.

ART

I am inspired by light, colour and the feeling of belonging that one can feel in both nature and states of meditation.

I create intuitively and each painting is its own meditation.
My best creative times are when I can let my hand move freely without the mind getting in the way.
When I can be fully present with whatever I am doing.

I paint in oils and watercolours.

My work begins intuitively and slowly evolves and appears layer by layer, often creating atmospheric and ethereal scenes. I hope my work leaves space for the viewers own imagination and reflection.

YOGA/ MEDITATION

Having practiced for over 20 years and teaching for 15, I have experienced different styles of yoga from Vinyasa flow to Hatha, yin, restorative, yoga Nidra and somatic movements. I currently love practicing and teaching mindful movement, weaving mindfulness into the practice. In class there is usually a blend of

Somatic movements, gentle yoga asana , yoga Nidra and meditation, leaving people feeling clearer, their nervous system reset, a calmer mind and fuller heart. I am particularly interested in how these practices affect the mind and our mental states. I have found them very useful to manage life’s experiences.

I now teach in Totnes in Devon but used to teach in London at Yoga place, The Life Centre, Yoga home, the Sunflower centre as well as teaching corporate classes and private 1-1 sessions in central London.

I have ran many weekend retreats in East Sussex and now looking to relocate these in South Devon.

My trainings include:

500h yoga arts with Louisa Sear, Lucy Roberts, Rose Baudin

100h anusara with Bridget Woods Kramer

Thai yoga massage with Ralf Marzen

VEGETARIAN COOKING

I currently work part time at Sharpham House as a retreat cook, where we prepare vegetarian food for the mindfulness retreats. We are very lucky to be using amazing organic vegetables and fruit, some of which is grown on site in the beautiful walled garden.

I was trained as a chef in France in Paris at Ecole Ferrandi and spent many years in varied kitchens, Michelin star restaurants, law firm directors dining kitchen, my own kitchen catering for private events, in ski chalets, also teaching cooking in London.

I love baking and making food that supports our body and mind’s well being. Cooking and eating mindfully are important to me and I Hope to share this with many people. You can find a couple of recordings I have made for The Sharpham Trust on Cooking mindfully and Eating mindfully.

I bring many different ways of cooking in the kitchen, from Ayurvedic principles to traditional French recipes with some inspiration from around the world as well. I love cooking with seasonal produce and making things by hand…
